did this Counting Crows Cover today...

Hey all,

haven't been on here for a while, but I was bored today and recorded an acoustic version of Counting Crows "Daylight Fading". If you have a sec, check out the mix, and feel free to give any opinions/advice...it's far from perfect.

What I've been having trouble with lately is EQ...I had a hard time getting the vocals to sit just right with the guitars. I EQ them separately, but then I EQ the master channel a little and that throws everything off...argh! Vocals are SM7B to RNP to RNC (just very light comp going in). Guitar is an Ovation, one track plugged in, most of them mic'd with the SM7B (was lazy and didn't want to pull out any other mics =)

MP3 can be downloaded from:

Thanks!

-Jon

Decided it was a bit tinny and remixed a little...hard to tell on my Events...they have hardly any bass...
