when i use cubase, and i set sound forge as the external editor, and i choose to edit a file, it opens sound forge, but it says that theres an error and it wont let me edit the file.
i dont know what im doing wrong... the same thing works perfectly with cakewalk...

and: how can i send to sound forge a file already with a selection from cubase?

this are the only things keeping me away from steinberg... help me! thanks in advance.

Make sure that the 'select segment range' option box is not checked - this is found in the same dialog box where you specify the external editor you wish to use. This option is only for use with Wavelab and if selected will prevent Sound Forge from loading the .WAV file.

Hope this helps!
