triton manual is a maze and im lost!!!

I am sampling with the triton and I wanted to store 2 samples in Bank E - but the second sample - keeps replacing the first one . . . any reason for this?

I keep trying to find/follow the instruction booklets - but these things are rather confusing . . . and I have always been a little slow on the uptake . . .

Any help would be greatly appeciated . . .

Yo Hully-Gully w/jewels:

Like, call Korg and get a techie on the line. You might have to pay for the call; maybe you can do in on-line via "contact Korg?"

Someone there should help you out.

I don't have a Korg, but I am thinking if you're saving a second sample in the same bank as the other, you're probably saving it under the same Program/Patch/Whatever-ID. See if there is a way to specify the ID along with the Bank... oh, and make sure you try to save them under different names.

First it's kinda confusing with sample saving and stuff, but i finally understand it...

It's kinda hard to explain everything but keep these in mind:
In sampling: Convert MS to Program.
When saving to Disk click Save ALL.
In program mode press MENU, Press P1: Basic, OSC Basic, and look what multi-Samples are selected for the Oscilators...
Save it (Save ALL), when you turn off the power, the samples get erased

Exactly! I'm still trying to get used to saving samples and stuff. I really don't use the sample for anything but my own drums. Imma keep at it because once i get the process solidified and repetitive, imma be alright.

Hey, i got it now! If you make a sample beat, make sure you save your multisamples(and also convert them to a user program # from D64-D114 i think) as .ksc files and make sure they are the same name you use to name the songfile. That way, when you load the song, it will automatically ask to load the .ksc file with the same name. As far as making your own sounds(piano's, etc) to use on diff songs, after you create the multisample and convert to program and add all your tweaks/effects to programs, save a .pcg and your multisamples as .ksc under same name. That way, when you load the .pcg, it will automatically ask to load the .ksc. I'm learning alot about the triton man. You might already know, but the key to putting beats in song format(intro, chorus, verse, bridge, etc.) is using the cue list and composing a song from different sequences. Eat and breath your manual and you'll find out all kinds of little goodies. Peace!

if you'll save it ti banks A,B,C or D, you'll overwrite factory preload, beacause that's where factory sound are in A,B,C,D banks. usually write samples to bank E, or any other free bank.

Oops. Thought he had a triton le. There is no bank E on a triton le. My mistake. I know nothing about the regular triton. Never used it.
