i've been playing around on a motif xs6..

sounds real good... the screen is real nice and a lot of the os has stuff from the fantom. that's a good thing... i hate to say it but i think a lot of es users are gonna want to trade up. you just get way more of what you like about the motif (sounds) plus some user friendly stuff that took away from the older models.

if you guys have any questions ill try to answer...

I played one today and it sure is nice. Too bad no rack version, only the ES rack. For the price of the XS6 you can buy a motifES rack AND a fantom rack. Thats a lot of noises.

An associate of mine wants to come to my studio to record a song onto my Korg Triton - but he already has the yamaha motif. He said, however, he doesn't know how to "work it" - regarding burning the song file onto a CD as a wave. So if he comes to me, he will have to re-create the song in my Triton. I told him, its up to him, but that's a lot of waisted time (and $35/hour is my "time") on his part if he just figures out how to "burn" the project as a wave.

I don't know why I'm throwing $ away, but does anyone have any "Idiot' Guide to" type of advice I can show him to do this?
