Thanks for the explanation.
What would you need to work with? Perfectly timed guitar track and vox?

Yes that would be enough, if you have a bassline to that would be great but that is not neccesary. Bounce the track from bar 1.1.1.1.

heyy im 17 and i recorded a lil demo and it only has vocals and guitars. Ive been playing drums for 8 years and i would love to have drums recorded on those songs. Since i have no way to put drums on them i would love to see how it sounds with drums. Im not too sure what you meant when you said bounce the track to 1.1.1.1 or w.e lol. do u mean 4 counts till the songs starts? cause i dont kno how to do that... anways im in school right now so i cant send the song now but i will once i know what you mean by 1.1.1.1... so when i get home ill send it?... thanks

Drums

What I mean with bouncing the track from bar 1.1.1.1 is that if is recorded to a fixed tempo (click) it has to be in sync when I import it in my DAW (Logic).
I doesnīt neccesary have to be from 1, the most important is that bounced from a fixed bar.
Do you use computer when you record, programming?
I hope it doesnīt confuse you, itīs really easy actually. Also I apologize for my english, Iīm from scandinavia.

hey... i didnt record it myself... it was done at a friends studio, but yeah he used a computer, so what should i ask him to do exactly?... im guessing that i can ask him to do it from his computer then just give it to me... thanks, its just a small demo with vocals and a guitar... vocals go out of tune sometimes and im going to fix them soon! i just wanna see how awesome it would sound with drums...

i'd definitely be interested to hear what you come up with for my stuff - I actually play drums myself but for some reason i can never come up with parts for my own songs. Everytime i try it seems like they don't belong, probably because i've listened to them SO MANY times without drums : )

hit me back with some ideas for these songs - i'll have more up there soon:

I have a song that has funk rock qualities that I can't seem to get anyone to play drums on. Take a listen and tell me what you think. It's recorded to a click. You can find it here.

I recorded this all by myself. I'm trying to make my own cd.

I have a funky track I'm messing about with, if you would like to drop in some drums, I'll send you a file of it. It's got a drum machine on it right now, which is not to my taste at all. If you'd rather have it without the drums, that can be arranged as well. Thanks!
