Just threw this together, kind of tired of writing in minor keys and have the lyrics turn out with sad/melancholic undertones, will try to write a happy one next.

The two references to the birds doesn't seem to flow for me. They seem to be there just for the rhyme. I'm missing the story behind why they are there.

This has a strong rockin' feel to it, just reading through it. Definitely move forward with this - it has good feel to it......

I like the repeats of the first and third lines of the first verse. Perhaps try carrying that through the rest of the song? ido1957 is right. It has a classic rock feel to it. Play with it and see what turns out.

Thanks guys. The birds reference has a meaning behind it, but the actual sentences dont really work in the song. I work on those lines and throw a very rough mix up sometime soon.
