Nice Tribute to Brad Delp of Boston

I can never hear this song too often. For me this song and this band epitomize the contrast between yesterday's and today's music. Whenever I speak of the music scene being a shadow of what it once was this song and these times come to mind.

Cool Tim. Thanks for putting this up. I've been spinning that record for that last 3 days. Perfect pop masterpiece.

Yep... I've had three CDs in my 3-CD player for the last three days... Boston, Don't Look Back, and Third Stage. It's all a guy really needs.

I was looking forward to the Boston/REO tour this summer. Bummer!

That's so sad. I feel so badly for his family and fiance.

Damn, I was hoping that wasn't the case. I really didn't think it would be.

I remember they first time I listened to Boston's first album (new on vinyl, of course). Both the music and its production blew my teen-aged mind, and was a contributing factor to my involvement in audio. I remember my friends and I used to joke about how Delp must've had to grab his balls to reach those high notes.

A great singer with a memorable voice. And, apparently a tormented soul.

R.I.P.
