Compressor?

There's another thread quite like this going on but I didn't feel good about hijacking it....

I need a compressor for mixing. At least our drummers snare needs serious compressing, kicks too, and my bass, though I'm getting my own.

4-8 channels, not necessarily rackmounted. (nothing else is)

Got any suggestions?

FMR RNC (Real Nice Compressor) these are inexpensive great sounding and you can fit 3 of them (side by side) in one rack shelf. You cant go wrong with these puppies.
