This is a really, really BIG bummer. I saw him and Beatlejuice just last summer at Methuen fireworks. He was so obviously a genuine good guy. He'd invite people down after the shows to say hi. Most of the shows he did around here were benifit concerts to help local benefits like Methuen High School band, which he did every year. I really regret that I didn't at least go up and meet him last time I saw them. I now have learned if there is someone you want to meet and ever have the opportunity not to pass it up. I feel this community and the world has lost a really GREAT person and musician and WAY too soon.

That is sad to hear. Probably no other band... no other voice inspired me as a young man more than Boston.

I remember back in my heyday of glam rock and explaining what my band d'jour was up to and aspiring to, riding in a car with dad (who was and is an INCREDIBLE musician, but never pursued it beyond high school trumpet and college guitar) mentioning that Brad was 'one of the best singers in rock and roll', in his opinion. I always highly respected my dad's opinion and always dug Boston. It is a sad loss, one of the greats.
