Help?: Sovtek MIG50 and Sovtek 4x12

So... A friend of mine has this setup... I asked him how much he wants.. He's saying 500..

My question to you is whether or not this is a deal....

I'm not quite sure which speakers are in the cab, but it sounds pretty good.. Not marshall 1960A with greenbacks good... but good...

Thoughts?

in other news.. I bought a Valve Jr. today and also a Celestion Relic30 speaker (which I will put in my aforementioned 50's PA cab.... If I decide to go with the Sovtek, I'll probably have to take these back...

Mig 50s sell for around $450 on eBay nowadays, and that's without a cab. If it's in good working condition, go for it I say. If you don't, let me have his number so I can snag it!

Kinda rare to find a matched pair of sovtek head and cab, ask him when the last time he retubed and rebiased was and whatever he says try to talk him down a hundred bucks. Then its a good deal.
