I’ll be loving you
This is a pop song any feedback will be welcome
I’ll be loving you ©2006 Irwin Byron Abrigo (V1) You said you love me, I know you do You want to hear me say the same thing too You ask if we, if we would ever part Girl I want you know I cross my heart (Chorus) You’re my everlasting love I’ve found what I’ve being looking for And if we live forever, you’ll be there And I’ll be loving you, still (V2) Even though I was , I was in love before I’ve never felt this way I know and that’s for sure Since you ‘ve came along, I’m a happy man You’re the best girl I’ve ever had (Chorus) You’re my everlasting love I’ve found what I’ve being looking for And if we live forever, you’ll be there And I’ll be loving you, still (I’ll be loving you ,I’ll be loving you) (Repeat V2) (Repeat Chorus) And if we live forever, you’ll be there And I’ll be loving you, still (I’ll be loving you) I’ll be loving you (repeat) I’ll be loving you, I’LL BE LOVING YOU, I’ll be loving you, still |

Cool lyrics. Very misanthropic. Is that the right word? No...happy, yeah, happy's the word.
Good job Irwin.

Of its type, it reads fine. I can hear the song even.
The words "best girl that I ever had" maybe stand out a little. Of its type it is a fine example. If that is the intention, good work ![]() But.... and here I am talking more of the "type" than your song (which is fine)..... I actually find the word "had" the most interesting thing in the song. These songs read to me like any other, and they say "I think you are nice". That makes me think "yes.. and?". And then we get to the back-story, or the singer. I find myself thinking of alternatives - what is he really trying to say? 1. Maybe he is trying to say "I'm a doormat. Let me be your doormat til the real thing comes along". Actually, that may be a more interesting song. 2. Maybe he is trying to say "I really want to XXX you". Hmm, been some good songs along those lines. 3. Maybe he is trying to say "You are my favorite slut". 4. Maybe he is trying to say "I need you, but I don't want to look needy. Don't walk away.. hey.. I'm talking to you!" Lots of possible twists. Maybe I am just feeling cynical, but I just don't think we need too many more "Hey, You Are Nice" songs. I find myself wondering "what would the singer really like to say? And wouldn't that make a better song?". Sorry, rant not directed at you Irwin (great name by the way!), it just needed an outlet and you were there ![]() |

These lyrics would sound great with a 'boy band' sound from the 90s in my opinion. I know that 'boy band' is a cliche' used by many in a disapproving way but that is not how I meant it. I LIKED that a cappella style in the 50's and again in the 90's. I love the simplicity of message and the even way it reads. Good work.

Haven't seen a Mighty Wind yet - heard it was a sleeper of a hit though - didn't it win an award. I'll have to check it out.
And I’ll be loving you, still Irwin - I think Lionel Richie wrote a song with the word Still in the last part of the chorus. Just wondering if yours is the same or slightly different. I like the simplicity also. It would suit a pop song well.... |
