Oktava MKL2500 tube replacement - which tube will work?

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement tube for this mic? Mine's going bad. Websites tell me its a 6C315P tube, but there seems to be no info or availability. Is there a equivalent number I should look up? If I can eventually find a replacement, what brand would be a good match?

The only place I could find mention of this problem is in a google search that brought up another forum:

http://www.firebottle.com/fireforum/...992722331QnD3S

(Go about halfway down the page)

They say that the tube is in fact a 6C31A-P, which I also cannot seem to find on any websites, nor on the major tube sales sites.

I'd say your best bet is to call customer support and see if there is a known type that might replace the valve in that mic.

I bought some N.O.S. 6AK5 tubes made by CBS-Hytron (made in Danvers, MA) from www.tubestore.com that work fine.

You can get N.O.S. replacement tubes here too : http://www.tubesandmore.com/

That specific tube is listed at $4.20 each.

The American number for that tube is the EF95, which can easily be found on eBay and a lot of tube websites.
