Anyone have any idea how the piezo element peice is attached to the underside of an electric guitar bridge?

Is the piezo element all one peice? does it span across the whole underside of the bridge? Any information on how it's put together would be appreciated. Also does anyone know whether a piezo bridge pickup can be integrated with an active humbucker?

In both my Parker Fly and my P-38, the piezo elements are seperate in each saddle. It is really nothing like the bridge piezo strip of a typical acoustic. The entire bridge itself makes up the piezo pickup. hats why they sell it as a unit and not something you can add on to your existing bridge. The Fishman Powerbridge does a decent job.
You can run a piezo system and active pickups. But you will have to figure out how to share the battery power or add a second battery to the guitar somehow.

On the fishman powerbridge, it is set up like a Strat tremelo, in that there are 6 saddles that each string rides in. The element is 6 individual peices, 1 in each saddle, actually built into the saddle. It works kind of like the Adamas guitars saddle pickups.

Alright, so they're put into each saddle, most likely so they are near some sort of vibration. So theres a set of two wires coming from each saddle correct? and they're wired in parallel?
