Alesis HD24, clean, near mint condition, 40gb Maxtor HD, 2nd owner, bought as backup but unused. Manual, remote. $950 USD shipped ground to continental US only.

I have the hdxr unit. I would love to grab yours for a backup.
Anyone looking a great way to track and mix, these are so much easier than a computer based setup. NO latency when recording and they don't crash!!

Iv always used my computer, but I have always been curious about these....you need a control surface or something for them to work???

No control surface. You do need a mixer.

24 ins and 24 outs. Basically a tape deck without the tape.

It also works as a standalone converter if you want to go to the computer.
You need a 24 channel adat card for that the RME HDSP 9652 is a good choice. You can also send files to your computer for editing via ethernet.
The onboard editing is somewhat limited but you can do it.

A great unit for recording live.
