Making midi work with axiom 49 and boss dr 670?

I have an Axiom 49 and i want to use the 8 drum pads on it to control the drum sounds on my boss dr rhythm 670. I heard it can be done but i have no clue how to do it. Ive looked at my manuals but since im new to midi im either doing something wrong or im stupid lol.... Any help is appreciated. thanks in advance

Just map the notes that trigger the sounds on the DR to the pads via the axiom software

I use the axiom with cubase and all I had to do was plug it in and play also. Only thing i had to change was some settings for the transpose buttons to work. It didnt come with any software or manual for that matter, atleast mine didnt? I learned all I know from the yahoo groups for m-audio stuff but I cant for the life of me get it to trigger the dr-670. Maybe I can use that Enigma thing? Anyone know anything about that? It would be so much nicer to be able to use the pads on the axiom though. I guess I was just looking for that "magic" answer that solved everything with one easy button to push lol ... Ill keep at it , thanks for the replies
