drums and such

I'm sorry to say I have the 1600 and have never been able to figure out live drums. I have been in contact with BOSS as well, and I think it just can't be done, which, I know, is pretty silly.

On the up side, record your track with just a basic scratch drum track or loop as a metronome, and you can then go back later and program a sequence of patterns. It will take an afternoon to get adept at it, but then it's a snap. You'll be able to do a song in half an hour or so once you know which patterns/fills you want.

Other option: I know you probably don't want to go this route, but drum machines are way cheaper than they used to be, even if you record with basic patterns and use the machine for the odd cymbal flourish.

Sorry if this is not what you wanted to hear. If you find out anything different, please zap me a message.

Peace.

Blooby

BR900 drum programing

Go to this web site and click on Applications and you will find a very good explanation of programing drums using the BR1600 which will probably apply to the 900 also.

Good Luck,

I just bought BR600 recently and not had much time to mess with it. I only manage to read the manual. Starting from page 144 manual describes how to record tapped drums in real time or programming.

This may answer your question. The manual is not so clear for most of the features that it is very easy to miss things.

BTW, does anyone know where to find drum kits for toneload feature?
