Does different circuiting mean different quality on effects pedals?
Hey, I have a Boss ME-50. I bought it after selling my DS-1 and DD-6
stompboxes. The ME-50 is supposed to have both those pedals sound characterisitics built in, but i notice the effects sound different. I'm assuming the circuitary must be different right?? Does this mean that the effects will be of less quality on the multi-effects as opposed to the individual pedals? Thanks |

Hey Obstacle,
I have the ME-50, and some of the pedals it emulates. It's very very close. (To my ear). I thought the DS-1 was exact. The Big Muff however, is weaker than the Real Big Muff. (New York model). The Real Big Muff has more low end rumble, and more power. |
