New multi-tracker coming out??
i just seen a new MR16HD being advertised on zzounds.com??? anybody have any info on this?? or specs??

Hmmm...I think my old Roland has better specs than this. I don't know why they can't start getting the bit and sample rates up on the newer equipment.

4 track Simultaneous Recording
Great for capturing multiple instruments / vocal parts 4 XLR Inputs With phantom power and trim control I've got a mr8hd... same 4 inputs and simultanious tracks... Great at home, no use on a band.. 4 tracks just won cut it, I'm waiting for a 16-band mixer to ease the pain...

ahhh..........only 4 simultaneous recording?? not so great. Dont mean to go off my topic, but which of the more than 4 simultaneous recorders are best?? i need one for live recording. I see fotex vf16 is pretty decent looking, or Tascam 2488?? I also see that Zoom makes a 16 tracker in the same price range?
