Where am i wrong?Volume on monitors are too low!

Hi, I recently bought a pair of EMU-PM5 monitors which are conected by 1/4 to my m-audio 410 sound card. I played some songs and some mp3s to check the audio quality of the monitors but the valume is too low? i hardly can hear anything. I checked the valume controls they are all the way up as far as i know. Where am i wrong? Any tip is much appreciated. Thanks

There is probably some software volume monitor for the line-outs. Click on the M in your tool bar, if you have one and find the setting.

Turn your monitors down before messing with anything. Once you fix it you dont want them blasting.

Did you get the $99 each deal?

I agree turn down the monitors when testing with the software volumes.

Maybe next, try plugging a standard CD player into the speakers just to ensure they are in top notch shape.

congrats..look forward to your gear- comments. I'm looking into these, thru GC.
