In-ear with behringer preamp! Is it works?

HI!

I have a problem.

Few days ago I have order Shure E2 in-ear headphones.
I want to use it with Behringer HA4700 headphones preamp for band practice. But today I heard from someone that E2 don't work with behringer preamp cause output is too high and headphones soon starts to cilp.

Do anyone use this combination or had experience with in-ear headphones on similar preamp?

Tnx for replies!

Those earbuds are pretty low-impedance but...

you can just turn the amp down until the earbuds don't clip. Problem solved.

If they distort and aren't loud enough, they just aren't loud enough. There is nothing wrong. But in my opinion, anyone who drives decent earbuds loud enough to clip is a retard. Or their band is too loud. Which is the same thing, really.
