What songs to remake....

'sup all.

I have a question that I'd like to pose to the collective wisdom of The Board:

I am considering covering a few older rock songs. So far I've alredy got Steve Miller's Seranade and Winter Time. Those two songs almost begged to be tuned down, beefed up, and genaerally torn to pieces. They have a great feel and really speak to me.

Now, using those two songs as a point of reference, can anyone suggest any other older rock songs may be good cover material for a modern heavy rock sound? Preferably NOT the beatles or Johnny Cash....

If you find Steve Miller works.. Jungle Love?

Sunshine of Your Love? - Cream

Pink Floyd - Arnold Layne?

The Kinks - Lola?

You can probably tell I am a bit out of my genre

The Doors - LA Woman?
