sure, they usually have pretty good absorption capacity.
they also usually have some screw sockets you can put a eyebolt into, and use chains to hang from the ceiling, etc.
We had a bunch in the studio I used to be associated with. did a pretty good job killing reflections and if you angle them when you hang them from the ceiling you can also trap some bass.

hey ya want great gobo's??? there they are.... most areas have a good used biz furniture joint or two.... well worth checking out.... you can even rig casters on them...

I think they pretty much have something like oc 703 in them. I missed picking up a bunch of these at work this year, too.
