You are going to be up against a square room. Not good.

Maybe a vocal booth? False walls splayed?

I think I would figure out a way to make some movable dividers with broad band absorbtion on both sides.
You could set some up as a psuedo booth when recording vocals (to knock down the room sound and computer noise) and create a mix position with some splayed dividers to help break up the square room. You can always use the areas behind dividers for storing mic stands and the inevitable studio garbage the collects.

My idea anyway.

I say try the room, see how good or bad it sounds plain (keep the recording for a referance/comparison) then as you notice something that you don't like or just plain sounds bad come back and address one specific problem at a time. I'm fairly certain diffusors and traps will both be to your advantage but for now check the room (listen carefully) and decide what needs the most work and tackle one problem at a time. A good sounding room IS the first step towards making good sounding recordings.
