Why didn't someone tell me about this?

I want one. So do you.

http://www.gearwire.com/fender-champ-600-wnamm.html

Looks interesting. 6" speaker a little small, but it does have a ready wired speaker jack, so that may not be too much of a problem. I have an Epiphone Valve Junior that I love, but this is Fender, after all.

Thumbs up

Looks promising. I don't need another one, but I'd have to consider it.

they also have a new "Princeton Recording Amp" that streets for about $1000.

personally, i'd pass on the new champ 600 and pick up a silverface champ. easy to use those with an external speaker cabinet too.

cheers,
wade

Yeah, they definitely seem to be trying to cash in on the success of the valve jr. What's the street price for these gonna be?

sounds kind of cool but i'd probably take a silver face champ over it.

Man, I think I'm gonna have to get one. Probably be twice the price over here - the bastards.

...

If it's twice the price, buy an Orange Tiny Terror, it should be a good price there (even though they are built in Korea, not England). I own one for studio use, but I could easily use it for a gig.

Yeah, we can get them standard price, although they've moved production to China, afaik. It would be worth looking into, I've heard great things. I'll need to build a cab, but I can do that, I suppose.
