Some questions on getting my room set up.

I just typed all of this up and then the BBS decided to not load it when I submitted it. SIGH.

Anyway. I'm moving stuff around in my room in order to get my desk in a better spot (I hope) and to add a bed into our spare room (it's my mixing room, dammit!). I read that the best place for a desk is 1/3 of the way back from the front wall. On my right side there will be a microtrap. On the left side there is a book case, and further back a window. I have minitraps in all four corners.

My question is should I hang a microtrap on my left off of a mic stand? It would be about a foot closer than the one on the wall to my right.

This won't let me attach something so I guess I'll link it:

Lightbulb

Chris,

> I just typed all of this up and then the BBS decided to not load it when I submitted it. <

That happens occasionally and it sux. Every time I post, just before clicking Submit or Send, I use Ctrl-A and Ctrl-C to select all text and copy it to the clipboard. Then no matter what I happens I can try again and simply paste the saved text.

> should I hang a microtrap on my left off of a mic stand? It would be about a foot closer than the one on the wall to my right. <

Yes. Even though the distances are different, the end result is the same - no reflections. So that's worth doing.

And Yes too on being 1/3 back in the room.
