FL VST exchange

I know a lot of people use FL so I thought it was a good idea to do a request and post thread.Just to raise everyones game up.

if anyone has a DECENT synth, help a brother out. i haven't tried looking too hard for them, but defaults are garbage in my opinion.

the sytrus is nice in fl once u learn how to tweak it and then theres always hypersonic which is golden

Haven't found too many decent VST synths and instruments, but what ya'll might want to think of is SOUNDFONTS. You can use them in FL too and you're going to get a lot better stuff out of that (from what I've experienced personally). Do a google on soundfonts and you can definitely find a shitload of them for you.

Try sf2midi.com, that's where I got a LOT of free ones, a lot of them are pretty good if you don't mind tweaking just a little bit.

feel like making some screendshots of the tweaks you've made to make it sound nice? i've used it before, just never enough to get acquainted with it.

Yeh sytrus is real nice thats jus about all i use. Start with a default setting and play with it untill i like. Its good stuff once you learn the basics. After that it just keeps comin to you. Im still learnin, though.

i know how to use it. well... no, that's a lie. i just move crap around on the settings for Sytrus and see if i like it. i used it for one of the tracks on my album (3, 2, 1 Game Over, maybe?) but that's about it. i was just hoping to get more 'exact' settings for certain sounds, that's all.

Yeh i know the basics of it... im not familiar with the advanced portion but i got the main aspects down. EXACT settings would be difficult though seeing how there are so many little settings that make such a huge difference. All i can really say is mess with it and learn along the way. Thats sort of the rought im taking.
