That beat needs a little work homie. Were you trying to go for the Laffy Taffy simplistic beat route? This might actually be better if it was chopped and screwed. Listening to the lyrics, a better beat could make this song a lot better than it is now.

Not too bad lyrically especially for the Southern style. Hook isn't too bad either. Seems like the verses are fighting for control with the track, but the hook isn't. Not sure if they were mixed differently, but it sounds like they were.

I just don't think it is where it could be homie.
