ProTools 6.4 Adjustung Audio Track Speed
Hi,
I want to import a track from a file with a tempo of 80bpm to a file with a tempo of 90bpm. Is it possible to speed up (or slow down) an already recorded audio track in ProTools 6.4? Thanks. V |

Nope.
You need to do the tempo conversion first in Acid, Ableton Live or some other program that offers high quality results. Not sure when digidesign implemented ReWire, but as a workaround - and if your computer has enough horsepower - you could ReWire one of those programs to protools, set the tempo and leave the file to be temporarily tempo'ed by one of the specialist programs. .

Thanks for your reply. Never heard of Acid or the other one, but thanks for clarifying re ProTools.
