The beat is tight and on point, but it sounds like the vocals are alittle off beat. The chorus doesnt flow well with the tune. There should be a chorus tune to go chrous vocals. Its an ok mix.

Since everyone else bounced over this, I'll be the "Real" one.

Integrate into the community. Don't just pop in when you have a track you want everyone else to listen to. Do for others what you're asking them to do for you, listen to some of the other cats who've got their stuff posted in here.

The reason you get slept on, is you come off with an attitude like "I deserve to be listened to, ya'll need to check me out" when no one really cares, and you haven't earned that status with this community.

That's what it boils down to.

I'm not trying to be mean. I'm just saying, he pops in once a week or two weeks, and does two quick replys to other peoples stuff like "nice drum pattern, good sample" and then posts his stuff up for feedback.

If that's all the feed you're gonna give, don't even bother posting. That ain't feedback nobody wants. Be real, give constructive feedback, tell em how they can get better production wise, or with the mixing.

Like I said, I ain't trying to be mean. I'm just saying, if you want real feedback, give it to other people too. Not only that, become a part of this community and reap the benefits of the friendships we have here. There's a ton more he could benefit from this site rather than having 3 or 4 people listen to a track every week or two.

Yeah, you reply to peoples stuff... but you don't say anything meaningfull. You always say "nice drums, dope sample" or "thas a good track, keep it up"... Which, is a bogus reply. You're not helping anyone get better, you're not giving anyone real feedback...

It's just my opinion though, so take it however you want. If you want real feedback to help you get better, you need to look deeper than "nice drums, dope sample". Respect is earned, not given freely.

Now about the track marg.
I'm not feelin' the woman's singing at all. It throws the track off. The mix on the 2nd verse needs a little work. Actually, the whole track seems to hit and miss on the beat at times. The beat is nice, but it needs to be mixed just a little more though. It seems like the vocals and the beat are in a constant power struggle with no clear winner.

My advice...
Write up a new hook with a more versatile singer. Keep in mind, I mean no disrespect even though it might sound harsh. I would raise the volume of the first verse to match the second. I would cut some volume out of that closed hat you're using in the beat. That seems to be what's fighting with it the most out of that beat. And just stay on it and ride that beat like your life depended on it.
