Ssscientist help!

Hey brosef. I need a free organ VST. I can't find any on KVR audio except one the uses soundfont, though is that a VSTi? What exactly is soundfont?

I'm not Ssscientist, but...

SoundFonts are samples stored in a file that can be used with MIDI similar to a VSTi. In most cases (the ones you find for free on the net) aren't really that great. I think Creative came up with the SoundFont file format and you can make them in Vienna.

Anyway, here are some free organ VSTis. I've never tried any so I don't know how good they are.

wow thanks alot man! I'll check these out tomorrow, kvr wasn't working so well for me! I might eb confusing you with someone else, but didn;t you use an organ for a collaboration of 'wonderful tonight'?

Yup. I used a church organ from Reason 3.0.
