Should I buy the Alesis Firewire Multi-16?
I need to record drums, bass, 2 guitars, and vox. This seems like it would work really well for what im doing, a cheap home studio.
My dad got me an Mbox2 for christmas, and it just seems that this will not work for what i need to record... Your thoughts? |

I like my Multimix 8... its a great sketch pad for band demos.
But... i never use the "mixing desk" part... just the firewire interface and then i mix within Cubase, all the mixing desk knobs are left on 12 o'clock and the faders on unity. In hindsight i probably should have just got an interface. Something to consider. |

I think I would probly use the mixer part quite a bit, I like to have something physically there that i can touch. Plus, if we ever get a decent PA system, could come in handy for gigs..
