Question

Hi,

I'm a real newcomer to digital recording and I'm using Cubase VST. I'm trying to use midi and audio tracks, but I have great difficulty getting any separation in my stereo mix, even when using mono tracks e.g. mono guitar. I presume I need to use my effects and EQ a bit more expertly, so are there any websites out there with advice, or can anyone suggest anything?

All suggestions welcome
Dewi

What you want to know will take a book to write.
Read the many post's written about some of what you ask.

Or ask a direct question about a specific problem or.... buy a good book.
