Hello,
Has anyone ever used any of the BLUE mics,I was thinking of buying a Dragonfly and wondered how they compared to the Neumann TLM103 or the AKG Solidtube. Thanks, Pete |

Blue mic are quite unique. The designer wanted a mic that would take all of the good thing about popular mics and combine them. I demo'd one a little while ago and they have many useable sounds. Like micing an acoustic guitar, I moved around alot and could hear the differnt styles of mics comming out. It takes alot of effort to get used to the differnt mic techniques, but I like them.

I dug it. It's very usefull as an all pupose mic. I do recomend if you get to spend lots of time with it because it took me awhile to get the sounds I was looking for, but it was well worth it. I also liked the blueberry alot, itook has some good sounds.
