Mic dealers Sydney Australia?

A friend of mine is vacationing in Sydney, and I'm looking for the opportunity for him to get me a mic while he's there. Any good online places to check out prices for Røde K2 or SM-7(b) ? Thanks!

You should find the Rode easy enough... www.sounddevices.com.au is more your specialist recording device shop in Sydney and Turramurra music is good too, but way out on the northern outskirts, so a bit hard to get to unless you're in the area.

Sound Devices are down in Sussex Street (I think) round the corner from Venue. You could try Allans, but they're a bit hit and miss - in Pitt St, up from the mall.

Venue Music have lots of lower end gear.... if you want a Behringer anything.. they'll have it, but they may stretch as far as Rode...

I've not seen an SM7 anywhere in Sydney in a retail shop, so if your friend finds one... share the love!

Most Rode mics are made in Australia but I wonder why is cheaper to buy in US
