Chthonian Clockworks - industrial/metal

I recently uploaded a new song to www.myspace.com/deadmanshat called Chthonian Clockworks. The vocals have yet to be recorded. As far as genre is concerned I suppose you could call it industrial/metal. Comments are greatly appreciated.

I like the atmospherics and the guitar tone is great. Good blend between them too. Drums are getting buried in the louder parts. Pretty cool arrangement too, some nice changes. I'd lose the last 30 seconds though. Good job

Thanks for taking the time, man.
I'm aware of the issues with the drums; they should have been tweaked a lot further, however, I grew tired of working on the song and decided to just go with the drum scratch track.

I agree with Bulls re the drums. the cymbals etc are loud enough but the snare & bass aren't.
I like everything except the guitar tone - too much like every other mod/nu/death/ind/emo/metal outfit these days.
the solo guitar sounds are ok & the bass sound is really good but in terms of riffs tone wise it could be alien ant farm or slip know.
Nice piece. Is it going to be a dry lung vocal?

Thanks for the comments, man. I haven't made a decision regarding the nature of the vocals yet - I need some time away from the song first. The guitar was recorded direct through Simuanalog Guitar Suite, which sort of limited my tone shaping options a little.
