Should i persist with working on this song

Hi all
Just finished recording this tune... not sure if i like it or not... something about the chorus melody (i think it might be a little repetitive).

Just wondering whether i can get some thoughts from you guys... should i carry on with this tune and try and develop it into something or just put it on the backburner.

Its called "Rough demo in C"... its all guitar/bass... no lyrics yet... not sure if there will be (im not much of a lyric writer)

Cheers

I'd keep with it!

I think it has a really nice groove that is just BEGGING for lyrics

I wasn't that keen on the intro - and I don't think it's needed to be honest. I also wasn't sure you needed the changes later on.

Just the nice groove running through it, some lyrics and some changes as you sing it and you have a really nice song there.

Work on some other stuff and play it over from time to time, maybe sing some rubbish words (absolutely anything) until some words appear - then you are off and running.
