new chameleon labs dual channel preamp
as a happy 7602 owner, this thing looks intriguing:
http://chameleonlabs.com/product4.htm no sweet eq section, but 2 channels w/ the p.s. for the same price as one channel of 7602 with the eq.

It's supposed to be the identical preamp in the 7602 units which is silly good for the price. This ain't no chip based pre that craps out in an instant, those pres can be pushed pretty hard without the typical breakup home studio guys experience with low cost mixer preamps.
I'm looking forward to this one, although I still find the EQ in the 7602 to be the crazy good part! War |

that's a pretty damned good price, assuming the sonic quality is up to the level that people have been claiming...looks like i might have to re-think some of my upcoming gear purchases!
