zildjian z/k hats combo

So ih ave been thinking about trying out some new hats soon and this combo seems to be big on ebay and they act like drummers all over the world are aware of this combo, which explains why i have no idea about it.

Anyone use this, know the scoop? The proce is nice for this particualr combo alot and the descriptions seem flexible. Both are tops?

My A customs are good, but i find them to be bright and attack heavy (a lightish 'chik'), i would like to try out something a bit more dark or fat with a good 'kshhhhck'.

Thanks,
Daav

I have not played them but, like you, have been intrigued by their popularity and price on e-bay. Looking at zildjian.com, the 13" k/z hat seem to be quite popular, with several big-name players listed as users (although, not the dmb guy - whom one e-bay lister claimed uses them). The sound samples are decent, but I'm still planning to hold out for the 13" k-custom darks.
