New song.....Fall Into Your Eyes

c. Dave Morehouse 2006

A look into your eyes,
I fall inside
And wish that I
Could stay forever there.

Much to my surprise
I am welcome here.
Your kiss, so dear
Makes me realise
Why I fall into your eyes

Then you have to go
I am saddened by
The fact that I
Will be without you here

Then you turn and smile
I am filled with hope
Cause now I know
You'll come back in a while
And I'll fall into your smile.

Falling, Calling, Your Name.

Now I lay me down.
Lay me down to sleep
Your love to keep
My heart forever warm.

Then the morning comes.
And I thank the stars
That who you are
Lifts me to the skies
Since I fell into your eyes.

Listen here to rough take on one mic

Love it! Great tune. Had my foot tappin' along. You've got a bit of a Roy Orbison sound to your voice.

Bottom line: Great tune.

Thanks for the nice words. The take is rough and I will build it up after Christmas. Thanks again.

Good tune up-fiddler.

I'm a fan of love songs and this is a good one. The chorus is catchy and memorable. The melody is nice too....

MJR is right - you sound like Roy O. Pretty nice for a one-mic take.....

First, props for the fact that you post a sketch recording with the lyrics. The lyrics is good enough. I feel you need a catchy chorus here, and this could be a good poptune if produced good.
I can hear the pop arrangement allready. Powerpop with acoustic rythm guitars and natural sounding, catchy backbeat.
But you need a soaring and catchy chorus. imo
Good song.

Thanks for the help. I sketched out a couple but nothing that seems to fit well yet. I will pick it up again after Christmas.
