FS: Rane MS-1b

This is a great little preamp.

I simply don't use it as I have six channels of high-end pres and rarely find myself needing any more than that. I have used it a lot over the past four years with great success.

There is one issue. The power supply uses a connector that looks like a phone jack. It works fine, but the little bit that makes it clip into the MS-1b's power supply jack broke off. You can still connect the power supply to the unit, and it works fine, but if you shake the unit around the power supply connector might slip out. A small piece of tape completely remedies this issue. If you'd like a picture of the connector, I'll gladly take one for you; it's a bit hard to describe.

For the money, this is the best preamp that costs less than $300, IMO.
