Thumbs up Not new to me but lots of fun!

I think I must have visited that site a few hundred times over the past few years and never get tired of looking at all that cool vintage gear!

Cheers!

I spent a few hours in there already

I like looking at the ads from back in the day when the stuff was new. I bought a near-mint condition TEAC-2340 from a pawn shop a few years back for $60. I'd say that's a hell of a discount over what it cost new

Yeah, the older gear certainly doesn't hold its value like other collectible items but if you have a use for them, there's a ton of bargains out there for analog enthusiasts.

I have what I like the call my "Wall of Forgotten Technology", which includes a Sony open reel deck from the 60's, an old 8mm projector from the 50's and some older camera gear from the 40's...I display it on a shelf like others might display trophies or other crap.

I used to have tons more but I moved last year from a 4 bedroom house down to a 2 bedroom apartment so I actually ended up throwing out tons of really cool crap that only seemed to be of value to me.

Cheers!

My wife keeps at me to get rid of some of my old stuff, but I can't part with it. I have a couple Teac 3300s that need to be fixed that she keeps threatning, but I won't let them go. I guess I had better get them over to my friend that fixes them, if they work, she'll have a harder time of it

That's a fun site...

Since the membership here is ever changing it never hurts to share those links.
