Taking a break from our regularly scheduled Digitai vs Analog debate

I've finely gotten some forward momentum on building a few channels of nice mic pre for input to my half track.

Here are 8 partially built Jensen 990 style opamps and behind that are 2 JLM 99v boards that I am making some slight mods on to become 2 channels of jensen twin servo pre. the twin servos will use 4 of the opamps leaving the other 4 for John Hardy M1 clones. Might be usefill on the 34b or perhaps the ATR700.

However the garage is cold and the night is late....

Watch it. Do you want to be known as some kind of John Hardy worshipper?

Nice work, by the way!

Cheers,

Otto

Thumbs up

RIGHTEOUS!
m.g. , it must be painful to assemble the same piece many times. I don't know, maybe it depends on personality. I even have emotional problems when doing something similar for the second time around, it drives me nuts going through something again, I'd rather do more of something different that a little of the same.

those things look like things, don't they. Somewhat painful realization is that they actually are just a bunch of a few things, even though you may know well, that they are not.
