The only thing that ever bugged me about Studio Master was the size of their damn logo on their gear.

It's like a freakin' billboard.

I guess that comes in handy in the music stores when they're on display on the floor but once you take it home, do you really want to look at that big, honkin' logo?

Holy cow. That's just an hour from where I live. A year ago I would have bought it.

But since I'm moving to Hawaii in 2 weeks I guess I can't cry too much. Can't imagine how I'd ship that. The m520 was difficult enough and I sweated every day till we picked it up at the dock on the other side.

Sweet board, that. Someone is going to be very happy once they shoehorn it into their studio.

But yeah- living near one of the big cities in CA has been this gear slut's dream. Hard to sell old stuff but easy to find good deals on stuff you want to buy.

I was seriously looking at it… even so far as scoping out things on mapquest . I kept trying to justify putting the 4000 miles on my car, but I just couldn’t do it.

I like what I have, and have modified my consoles so much… really made them my own.

But man, a Classic 8 with 32 channels for 500 bucks! Makes a guy dizzy with the possibilities.

I have a Moog Opus 3.

I thought about making the logo a little less ostentatious but now they're cool, you know. Besides, in a natural disaster like a flood or something, I can stand on my roof and use it to signal for help.
