Emad/Superkick combo

So, I got ahold of a reso superkick from my dads kit and I got bored and decided to throw it on my kit. WOW what a world of difference! I had a head that used to be the batter side PDP stock POS head painted and a hole cut in it from when I bought the kit but I didn't realize how big of a difference it makes...

Also I took the stock PDP reso heads off of my two floor toms and put Ambassadors on them (pinstripes on the top) and they sound way better too...

I might try to write something tonight and record if I can but I dunno what will happen...

Anyway I'm just excited and I wanted to rant...

Cool so I got a recording done of me just messing around. A few mistakes but I wanted to just get some mics set up and get the feel for how it's going to sound..

honestly, it's the best sound I've gotten so far. This is somewhat mixed and half assed played but I dunno I know some of you guys like to hear how other people's stuff sounds so I figured I'd show it off for ya...

that kick sounds a bit boomy to me, but im into clicky/punchy bass drums so i guess my opinion doesnt make much difference. i really like that snare though. it reminds me of alot of primus stuff.
