Swans m200 any opinions?

I can get a pair of these for cheap, in my area.

Are these decent, to monitor, on a budget?
I've read a lot of great things about them, how they are supposed to be amazing for the price range.

I was also looking at KRK Rokit 5's.

Basically the pair of Swans will cost the same as a single Rokit 5.

You need to make the decision for yourself.

Go to the store packing a few CD's that you know well and have the salespeople set you up so that you can listen to them thru the Swans.

If you like what you hear, by all means buy them. Pay special attention to where the bass starts to roll off and be sure you can listen to them at a variety of volumes. I had never heard of them before and from the photo on the web site they look solid, especially for $150 for a pair.

Good.

Thanks for the info.

Where did you buy those? I'm looking for a second set of monitors for my home setup and those are actually below the price range I was budgeted for.
