USB Drumkit

I'm not sure if anyone here has seen this, but I thought it could be a good idea for setting up scratch drum tracks on the DAW...

I'm not sure that I've seen that one but it looks a lot like the ion kit. I googled "usb drum kit" and came across this: http://www.fullcompass.com/product/330326.html

It's a trigger interface that includes a copy of BFD lite. Maybe the idea will catch on (it should have long ago).

It looks like it's around $240, but I haven't seen anywhere that you can actually BUY it yet.

To me it'd seem to make sense to just get something like the cheap Alesis kit or the Ion Audio kit (which I'm getting sometime in the next year or so), and trigger Midi.
EDIT:
By trigger Midi, I mean rather than just using the module that comes with the kit, using it to send the info to the computer for editing there.
