More info?

What sound are you looking for? What style(s) do you play? Is this for recording, Live or both? Do you stuff a pillow inside or not? A felt on the reso head? What size bass drum? What depth? Maple? Birch? Is there a hole in the resonant head? Do you bury the beater when you play? Are you a hard hitter? Heel up or down? Am I asking too many questions?

My point is: there are a number of factors to consider here. Your poll choices are all good for different things.

In our studio, we've mostly been using the Superkick I Bass drum pack and we love the sound and feel we get without any internal muffling. Depends on what you're going for though.
