Levels
Hi,
I am setting up a mix in Sonar 6. I have recorded a drum part. Levels are around -10 or so on each individual track. The main bus is notching a bit into the red when summed (in the box). Is it best for me to lower the levels (the trim) of each track a few db and have the main levels around -6db? Thanks Scott. Last edited by girvan; 11-20-2006 at 12:48.. |

yeah...you're mixing too hot...group the drum tracks volume and bring down to anywhere from -6 to -10 depending on the other elements of the mix.
