actually for the right dude - this would be a great opportunity. i have seen "nonhiphop" cats rockin along side a hip hop "producer" or "beatmaker" just for the sake of the drum patterns that the nonhiphop artist wanted - the fans loved it.
i have seen jazz groups gittin busy!!!! and the whole time - the baddest part (to me - not the other jazz music listeners) was that this "thug" [ALLOW ME TO CLARIFY MYSELF - I USE THE WORD "THUG" TO EXPRESS WHAT THE FOLK AT THE EVENT WERE THINKIN-AT LEAST INITIALLY. THE JAZZ GROUP WAS IN BLACK TIE, THE AUDIENCE WAS IN BUS. CASUAL, AND HOMIE WAS IN JEANS, T, AND BBALL CAP!!! LOVELY MIX. BUT AS TEH SONGS STARTED PLAYIN, N DUDE EVEN GOT IN THE MIX WIT A FEW BEAT PATTERN SOLOS - THE TISH WAS OFF THE CHAIN!] lol it was mad funny - but everyone was diggin the blend! GREAT WAY TO MAKE SOME CASH FOR GIGGIN - AT LEAST IN MY AREA - NO OFFENSE BUT THERE ARE A LOT MORE KNOWN PAYING GIGS FOR NONHIPHOP (AND SOME TIMES NON "BLACK" INDIE. GENRES THAN U COULD SHAKE A STICK AT!!!

I need a person who can put together beats on a computer.
I'm not trying to blend hiphop with metal. If you went to the link at the top you'll see what I do has nothing to do with hip hop. And the stuff you hear is done by a drum machine, so please don't refer me to other products. I want beats that couldn't be possible by a human, whether they be in ridiculous times, or faster than humanly possible. I'm looking for someone with a dark creative expression and is interested in putting together said beats. |

he was refering you to another product so you can do it yourself...you can get a Boss DR660 or 770 or something some to do that or get FruityLoops or Reasons to program your beats...
but if you need a drum programmer/beat maker then you should have explained it better..alot of us cant get to myspace site..due to them being block at work (government) so goin to the site woouldnt help anything... now that we got that out they way...what will be the compensation for this drum programmer?

thanks bknot, when you get home you should check out the link, cuz i am already making my own beats with a program called Beatcraft.
i don't get your last question though.... usually when you're in a band the compensation is the product (music) of the band. |
