If I get cubase VST for my mac what would be a good soundcard for me to get? The way I understand it I could use the one that's in my mac right now, but I would only get 16bit 44.1khz sound with 2 channels in and out.

get a RME Hammerfall card and one of the mindprint converters, the´re all 24 bit and sound really good.
